Add another zero and that's where I'm at

I would like to use pennzoil but I get my oil changed at Oil Can Henry's just because it costs about the same as doing it myself but I don't have to do it myself.

They use Castrol though

I use whatever is the cheapest full synth and change every 5K, which is still probably. overkill. Don't fall for the Royal Purple Kool-Aid!

Id say either go dino oil or semi synthetic for your first oil change. Then go full synthetic.

I have full synthetic from walmart and change my oil every 4000 miles or about 4 months.

Don't do a full synthetic switch on your first change. Do a couple oil changes before you make the switch.

Wait another 750 miles, then use dino oil. Just stay away from FRAM oil filters.

I've always used OEM filters but what's wrong with FRAM? are there any other choices besides buying an OEM or FRAM?

FRAM filters have been shown to do a terrible job of filtering oil out - just do a search or read up on it at Bob is the Oil Guy...and there are tons more choices for oil filters! NAPA, Purolater, Nissan, Mobil 1, etc...

The OEM Nissan one is actually really good too.

OEM Nissan filter all the way. Also make sure to purchase washers for the drain plug.

I use the Mobil 1 Extended performance synthetic oil. Its guaranteed for 15000 miles!!! I change it at 12000 though. Gold top FTW!!! 5 bottles is like $35 plus the $20 for the shop to change it...it pays for itself. Thats like 3 oil changes.
