P0100 is causing your car to stall. It's the mass air flow sensor. You can try to clean it by misting window cleaner over the sensor and then using a shopvac to dry it, but the MAF probably needs to be replaced. Try local junkyards before buying a new one as they're expensive.

The second code is evaporative control system gross leak detected. Make sure your fuel cap is tight and wait to see if it goes away. If that's not it, you may need a new cap or, worse, may have cracking in your fuel lines. If making sure the cap is tight and waiting (a good 80-100km or so) doesn't work, then take it to a dealer and have them look. Significant leaks can be tough to detect. Of course, if there's a puddle of fuel under the car, it should be easy to find.

If you tried cleaning it and nothing changed, replace the MAF.

As stated in my first post, P0100 (mass air flow sensor) is causing the stalling.

It's *possible* that the other code is your evap canister or fuel lines, and if the leak is big enough, it could cause low enough pressure to stall the car, but that's a bit of a stretch. Since it sometimes disappears, I bet your evap canister purge valve is sticking. You can try oiling it yourself or just replace it. It's tough to find the valve by itself, though, so you'll probably have to replace the entire canister. It's pretty cheap regardless (~ $150 US)

I've heard a mist of Windex will do the trick.

Try a junkyard, $680 is ridiculous.

They actually make MAF cleaner, I've seen it used on a couple of car shows. Go to your local parts store and ask them about it.
