Hey, quick question. I have a '90 (SOHC), N/A. KA24DET is in the future, about 2 years away if all goes as planned. My exhaust is shot, so I'm putting on the best there is. The A'PEX GT Spec. I know that I'll lose some power with this setup, but I don't want to purchase an exhaust now, and then another one 2 years down the road when I go turbo.

Here are my 3 questions...

1. With the Silencer will I regain some of the power loss?2. I've heard that the GT Spec sounds terrible on N/A engines (seeing as it isn't made for them). Will the Silencer help make the sound "pleasant". I don't care about loud, I just want it to sound good.3. What other things should I worry about while running with this setup?

Thanks in Advance!

1. no2. it will sound 'odd' without a turbo3.lack of low end, serious lack of..IE under 3800rpm lack of power...and loss of fuel mileage due to insufficient backpressure to keep non-bruned air/fuel mixtrues from leaving the cylinders because of the vacuum created by srapping that big of an exhaust onto the end of a 2.75" cat.....

get th dual N-1 or something more N/A friendly. if you MUST have the GT spec(I was going to buy it), think about it this way, the n-1 and other 2.8-3.1" exhaust will do just as well on a turbo as the GT spec unless you run over 400hp(I doubt it...) and wont cuase you the loss of money, or loss of power right now that the GT spec will.-chetOther exhaust to consider:Apexi N-1 or N-1dualHKS hiperBlitz Nur-SpecBee*RGP sports R-1(N-1 style)

get the N1... its a great exhaust... the loss is very minimal and you WILL feel the power that you gain... trust me... and if you ebd up going KA-T or SR, you don't need to get a new one.... it's one bad mama jama exhaust... although I am biast... but iss all good!
