addicted4life wrote:Install took about 30 minutes, I actually think the rear coilovers went on easier hahah it was a little difficult and tight fitting, took the 4 push style pins out underneath to flex the bumper a bit. Hardest part was getting around my OEM spats as they are glued on. There is a gap on fitment on both corners and slightly along the whole back bumper in places, but it is used. I may try and heat it in the body shop to see if I can fix it but I'll likely let the body guy take care of it.
Cool...let me know of any solutions or tips or final fit, as I just ordered a new diffusor and knowing how picky I am about fitment I'm sure I'll need to work it a bit to get it to my satisfaction- so any tips would be appreciated! :bigthumb:

You might call this progress :P
I also had the charge piping all the way on to check fitment, I got most of ashes eff ups fixed, just needs a couple more couplers. Fitted the 3" intake as well, I have some dremmeling to do, also needed 2 more 3" pieces to make it work.
Motor is in for good, tranny is bolted up.

Just wow...love it!
LOTS of custom stuff and I see that you have deleted the PCV system? Cool!
Question though, I see the open ports and assume you'll plug them as they'd be a huge vacuum leak, correct? Or, has your delete taken this into account in some other way? Something I'm missing? Very curious! :gapteeth:
Oh, and also are you still running the IACV?
Totally jelly over your Brembos too, I really think I should upgrade my brakes but just can't fit that in right now...yours would be SOOOO sweet!

Keep it up, looking awesome!

Pcv is being bypassed, iacv has been deleted . vaccum lines are one if the next thing to get tackled, last will be electronics related to the haltech. Today it's attempting to run the 3" intake piping from ash :)

IACV deleted, wow now I am REALLY interested...do you feel like sharing what you have done there?
I'd LOVE to ditch mine if it can be done, and work with my ApexiPowerFC...REALLY love it!

Sorry dcaff, long hours and overtired. I deleted the aiv system not the iacv, although my friend has successfully deleted it from his car. I am going to do that on my other intake over the summer and winter for next year.

Alignment and motor vehicle inspection are now done, $385 later. It took them a day to set the suspension.
Car went to body shop today, starting into it on Friday. He is really excited to mount the flares, and do the other work.

Hey guys, its been a little bit since I've been here to update. Car is still in the body shop but should be out this week coming. Here are some more pictures to update where its at. Don't mind the original battery cable. We were just checking a ground issue at the time. It's been exchanged and properly grounded.

Hey man I was doing some research online on how to put guages on your double din and came across your article referring to gauge art. I was wondering if there was any way possible you could call me so I could ask you questions about the install? If so that'd be very much appreciated! I could email you my number. Let me know, thanks!

Cool thread, any updates? Also, I hope after all that fresh bodywork you are going to get those flairs color matched.

Tuner blew the engine up. Couldnt tune vtc. Told me it was safe to drive on a base map he created.

Made 501.4 @15psi at 5850rpm on 91 shell fuel.

Made it 250 miles

Melted pistons.
Scored block.
All garbage.

Sold the powertrain. Still have the car with a stock ish motor.

Own 7 Zs now.

Car is for sale. Power added are gone but everything else is present.
