I love the Tanabe sound, but I think it only comes for the 3.5, not the 2.5Desire1314 wrote:tanabe axle back....but its a bit pricey....
where can I hear sound clips of the different exhausts?losenone wrote:I think its been debated endlessly, but I believe the consensus is that the Nismo offers the deepest tone without being obnoxious. The Greddy and Stillen are nice but not as deep, the Tanabe and Borla exhausts are very deep and some consider them a little too loud.
Edit: I have the Nismo Catback with a Fujita intake and Y-Pipe FYI. I liked the Nismo the best after hearing clips of all of them.
yup, I just checked those out... not to many for the 2.5...Altima1992 wrote:http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread/349481
correct. The hitch mounts like this: http://www.etrailer.com/hitch-...a.htmrcboy514 wrote:I'm pretty sure the tanabe and the nismo mount exactly the same as the stock. your explination is still cloudy to me lol ( i read yer post like 3 times) So dual mufflers WONT work because of the hitch mounts? If so than the nismo should fit the same as stock. Do you have a pic of your hitch installed on the car? That would help a lot
oh, and tanabe doesnt make a system for the 2.5
Dood, that would be way cool if ya can take a pic, at least I can see where the pipes pass alongside the hitch....,rcboy514 wrote:the best way to upload pics is to make an account on photobucket.com.
I just looked on the tanabe website and its only for the 3.5, but I did see some vids on youtube of the tanabe on the 2.5. I'm sure its not that hard to make it fit.
So, since the hitch fits with your OEM muffler, I would go with the nismo. I have it installed on my car and it's even a little bit smaller than OEM. The tanabe looks to be the same size as stock so that should work too.
Sorry I couldn't find any pics, I can't find anything on google. i can take a pic of my nismo even tho it's a 3.5. Just let me know..
true, sorry about that, I passed along pics to LBC and rcboy. looking at rcboy`s pics, the muff itself is more forward and the cross tube/receiver will clear. The concern was where the hitch runs alongside the exits and up to the chassis where it is bolted... it is a typical class I hitch, very similar to other hitches...6SpdAltima_Coupe wrote:if we see pics of the hitch we can help..but untill then we hav no clue about the fitment..
