A/C stops cooling!

My A/C works fine for a few minutes of driving, and then stops cooling when I'm driving, does anyone have any idea what's wrong with my a/c?

The A/C in my S13 Coupe does the same thing. If I turn it off and on a few times it works again. I'm curious to see what's causing this.

Check to see if the fan is on. If not don't run the a/c. As the gas in your a/c system get hotter it starts to expand and will build head pressure and will eventually cause damage to your a/c system.

Well if your A/C fan is working. 1)I would check freon level with a test gauge(when the froen is low it will shut down as rpm rises as it builds pressure)2)A/C pressure switch could be bad(could be bypassed for testing for a very short period of time) and besides that I won't go any further for now unless it's shutting down or not cooling at idle.
