When i turn on the A/C or heater there is a growling sound coming from the engine compartment. It's not the A/C / heater fan cause it doesn't make the noise with just the fan on. Does the A/C unit come on when the heater is turned on? Could it be the A/C clutch? Any ideas?

ThanksOBTW, it's a 1991 M30.

Probably compressor failure/worn out. Bring it on by and we'll check it . No charge to report/ diagnose for members. T3 Automotive 404-794-7700

I have an appointment at the Nalley Infiniti on Cobb Parkway Thursday to have the fuel injector recall done. Where is T3 from there?

Exit 15S off I285, S. Cobb Drive just inside perimeter- 200 feet. Tell Doug you are coming so that Byron can set aside time to look at it.

Who says Infiniti doesn't honor commitments, free injectors at least for that model. 12 years later.

I was suprised that it hadn't already been done:confused: They are also doing some kind of seatbelt thing also. As far as where you are at, where is that at from Dobbins? I live in Hiram, don't get out much:pface

Take Cobb Parkway [US 41] South [turn left out of dealer] 3 miles to Interstate 285 turn right on ramp get off at exit 15. [4 miles]. I assummed you use Interstate 20 and 285 to get to dealer but guess not..........back roads and thru the woods? Didn't we discuss this once before?

I take 92 to Macland Road etc, etc to the Navy base off Atlanta Road. The Infiniti dealer is just out the Air Force front gate on 41. The only reason I took it to that one is it's easy to drop off during work. Besides, they'll give me a G35 as a loaner:ylsuper

Hard to compete against a free G35 loaner - see why more and more independents are going out of business/or never start up in the first place. They can beat the labor prices [by $20-30/hr] but not the amenities.Isn't recall/warranty work wonderful! You should spread the seat belt out for another day [another free G35].

Trust me, the only reason I am taking it to the dealer is cause it's a recall. I'll have them check the A/C problem, but if I have it done I'de bring it to you if your guys rate is that much lower than the dealer. As far as the rental he said it may take a couple of days cause no one had worked on an M30 in years. I told him, Hell take two weeks:D Gee, I think driving a NEW G35 beats the hell out of a 12 year old underpowered M30 :thinker

We've worked on 3 - M30 converts and 2 M30 sedans in the last 2 weeks. Spoke to another dealer they hadn't seen a 90-93 Q in 2 weeks we usually have 4-6 per day.

One today had a transmission replacement........it had 4 diiferent brand 17" tires on Jag type wheels.
