99 G20 will not turn over...any suggestions??

Had the battery tested. It's fine. Starter had been sounding a bit sluggish.This morning it only clicked.I've beat and beat on the starter and no luck.

Anything else I need to do before having it towed to Nissan??

Does not turn over at all. Only clicks.I've changed starters before, but really don't want to mess with this one....not ez to get to.

Edited - It was the starter. Had to tow it to Nissan.

Hate to say it, but you are going to have to change out the starter. Has this happen to a G20 I use to own.

Yep, I had to have it towed to Nissan...They were going to charge me $250 for just the starter!!! A NAPA reman.I got one at autozone for $150 and took it to them.So, it was around $400 total. I had put it up on ramps and beat on the started, but didn't do anygood. Also, got a good look at where it was located and decided that i didn't want to mess with it.
