98 Pathfinder transmission pump

My 98 is still a problem. I've been told that it's the transmission pump. Has anyone been able to replace this? Or is this were in get a new transmission quote? I live in western Washington if ya have any advice. Right now my baby is yard art. And I dumped the mechanic boyfriend, so any advice is good and welcome!

Find a TRANSMISSION mechanic expert for a boyfriend ? Ya got time while the car sits as " Art " for a while ??
:facepalm: Like - what sports bar does the AAMCO mech's hang at ???
Transmission gotta come out for front pump usually you know . :yesnod
