Sorry for all the questions but I have run into an issue when replacing the crank sensor on my 97 q45t. As soon as i removed the bolt and tried to pull it out the plastic base basically crumbled away. At this point I have nothing to grab on to, I am going to try others suggestion to see if i can get a screw into it an pull it out that way. My question is if that doesn't work is there any issue with just completely drilling the old sensor out?

If the whole base of the sensor is plastic then you'll just wind up with a few plastic chips in the crank, no big deal. If it's the type with a metal jacket then drilling could be big trouble if you pierce the jacket. I think I'd drill into it just far enough to try an easy-out and see if you can get it to turn. Once the o-ring breaks free you can probably extract it with a strong hook tool.

Drill a self tapping screw in the center and then use a vice grip on the screw to remove. That’s assuming sensor is plastic.
