Hello everyone, so a couple days ago the return gas line under the vehicle started leaking where it makes the turn from the wheel well to underneath the frame before running straight to the rear. I peeled back the rubber covering on the line and cut the rotten section out, replacing it with a rubber hose and clamps. I did this with the gas feeder line last summer after I encountered the same issue in the same section. No problems with the hose replacement for the 4-5in section.
However, I am looking to replace the 5 main lines running from the wheel well to the rear of the vehicle before I encounter another issue down the road. There are 2 gas lines, 2 brake lines, and an evap line. The evap line is rotten, and I'm sure this is why I've always had the evap code come and go for several years now. Is this something that can be tackled at home or does it have to be brought into the shop? I've never replaced lines on the vehicle beside the three brake lines at the rear going to the load sensing valve and I'm not sure of the cost. Any ideas?
