95 z32 tt not going into any gears

95 tt 5 speed not shifting into any of the gears, randomly, i can smash it into 2nd, but other than that, all i have is neutral. Burnt syncros??? Im new to z32s any ideas. Is it cost efficient to rebuild these trannys???

I'd try draining the fluid first. How many miles are on the transmission? Any signs of eminent failure (i.e. grinding/weird noises)? Also, do you tend to bang out your shifts real hard or are you a little nicer on the machinery? It sounds like you might've broken a few shift forks, but the other stuff will help diagnose whether it's synchros or not.

If it really is destroyed, I'd say it's much more cost effective to just pull one out of a wrecked Z. They can be found for as little as $300 if you look around.

It had been popping out of fourth when i let off the gas but im pretty sure that was due to the bad trans mount. It also occasionally grinds going into fouth at higher rpms (mind you i know im deffinatly pressing the pedal all the way to the floor, and i just replaced the slave cylinder.) Im thinking about the 98+ tt transmission on Z1.....

could be the fork in the transmission that connects the shifter to transmission. could be floping around. or transmission going bad.
