Once it's warmed up and you keep driving it, it's fine but is bad if you turn it off and then restart? So if you drove say 30 miles it would be fine until you went to restart it if you turned it off?

First thingj to check would be the ECU codes. It might not tell you the whole story but it would give us a clue of where to start, potentially.

Did you fix your miss yet? I would suggest testing your o2 sensors, and check the wires that run above the transmission(rear o2 sensor wires and auto transmission wires). When I changed my pathfinder v6, 4 or 5 of them were melted in half including both o2 wires. They weren't secured properly and were laying across the transmission. Let us know how you make out. I have a similar problem with my 98 240sx ka, but I think it's my map sensor. I'm pretty sure your v6 doesn't have a map sensor. Wasn't sure if yours is manual or auto. Good Luck.

I don't know if you fixed your truck or not, but after changing my map sensor on my 240, I had no codes, but it still missed, had same symptoms as yours. Turned out my distributor cap and rotor contacts were corroded. I've learned that if you try cleaning the contacts, it almost never works. Best to replace cap and rotor.
