'95 Nissan hardbody computer location

I have a 95 D21 hardbody 2.4L and my check engine light comes on occasionally and then goes off. I'm thingin its an air or fuel mixture issue (since I have a heavy right foot. I've had the truck over 3 years, one owner before me, engine light problem for a year an a half. I took the truck to a transmission place that was doing free diagnostics and three techs could not find my computer. Do these trucks have them?, I'm thinking about taking it to Nissan and asking them. Truck drives great but I want to know what the hell the issue is. Thanks!
