Don't know if this is OT or not, but I can't find any within 150 miles of my house, which makes it a little hard to go check them out to see whats wrong and all that good stuff. I've been looking in the newspaper, Autotrader.com, and us.trader.com, and I've found 3 I'm interested in, but I just wish they were closer. I live in Ft. Wayne, IN....if anyone can help or point me in a new direction I'd really appreciate it...

Get someone on NICO to help check out a car you find. I'm sure someone will help you.

I ran into the same problem when i was looking for my 240. All i can say is go to all the dealerships(nissan, honda, ford, toyota, etc.) in your area and ask if they have any 240's. The salesman may have on at a different location or one they just got in as a trade in that isn't display. I left my phone # with every dealer i went to incase they got one in.

It didn't work for me, but you may get lucky. I just had to wait till i found mine on autotrader.com.

I found a 95 SE with 85k miles, leather, cd, pwr sunroof, everything basically. They want 5k...They didn't specify what transmission it has, but I will take either for now, because I'm sure even an auto would still be a somewhat fun ride. How hard is it to swap a 5spd in?

The s14's are pretty rare, and it takes a lot of luck to find yourself one. Lucky for me, I found one, and now lucky for my friend who is probably gonna buy it off of me now : ).

I'd love to have a 5-speed, but I'm not finding any around here. Are autos still capable of being quick and fun to drive?

depends on who you ask I think....autos can be quick, but in imho never FUN. but if you find a auto, auto-manual swaps aren't that uncommon in our kneck of the woods. If you find a clean nice auto, buy it and save for a manual swap. hope this helps.

hey jtfdzn, i live in IN too, but no matter where you live, its going to be hard to find one, they are rare cars. but i got really lucky here. about a yr and half ago there was a 96240se in a lot in my city. at the time i was just looking for a fast import, not a honda. but i knew these were hard to find and everything. it had been there for months. it had 73K miles and was in perfect shape, not a thing wrong w it. at first they wanted 10K for it which i couldnt afford. after waiting around a little i went back and they said they would sell it for like 8200. well i was thinking about it but still didnt want to pay quit that much. i went back bout a month later and a salesman said he would sell it for 7500, so i bout it. now im so glad i did because i havent seen another one since. i cant beleive nowbody bout it while it was there. they said they had it sold a couple times but the people had bad credit or something, that and it was at a mercury dealership in the used lot where you couldnt see very good. but good luck finding one.

Does anyone know how many 240's Nissan manufactured each year from 95 to 98? Just wondering.
