I recently replaced all of my injectors, it ran fine for a few miles but now it is floding out several of the clinders. Is there any reason that these new injectors are stuck open?

Thanks for any help.

A lower oring on one of the injectors is not seated properly. One unseated oring can flood all 4 cylinders in the bank. Been there, done that- twice. If you're lucky it's #1, #2 or #8 which you can get to without removing the plenum.

Pull the plugs and look for the wet ones.

Injectors best replaced as a rail unit on each side.

In hindsight it would have been best to pressure check the rail assembly before installation. If you end up removing the plenum to fix this you'll want to take that extra step before re-installation.

In the meantime...If you can pull the plugs looking for fuel and isolate it to left bank or right bank then you've narrowed it down to 4 cylinders. Maybe there will be fuel in only one or two cylinders but my experience is that the whole bank (4 cylinders) floods. If you're lucky it will be the PS and then you can replace the o-rings on #2 and #8 without pulling the plenum and see what happens. On the DS you could only get to #1. That's a 3 out of 8 chance of fixing the problem without pulling the plenum for about $15 worth of o-rings. Your call.

Keep in mind that you an hydrolock an engine in the process of "trying things to see what happens" - I would go ahead and pull the plenum again - remove the rail, and check it without the chance of doing more engine damage. Be sure to change your oil, as some of the fuel surely seeped by the rings and diluted your oil.

Good luck!
