Hi Guys,Can anyone tell me what the procedure is for replacing the crank angle sensor in my 94 Q or where I might find it? I believe one has to be precise about setting it. Any help greatly appreciated. I have a new CAS but am reluctant to proceed until I know for sure what to do.

Thanks,Tom

its located on the front of the motor on the drivers side, theres a nice article about adjusting the timing on Q45.org.

Does the Q crank and run and rev above 3,000 rpm? Could be corroded CAS connector not CAS.

Thanks for the reply. No, it is intermittent bucking under load. Have tried nearly everything else and noticed your post with similar problem where you finally determined it was the CAS. My car threw a CAS code after the last episode. Do you think I should try replacing the connector first? How did you determine it was the CAS?

Thanks,Tom

For starters just clean the connection real good. disconect it and spray some electrical parts cleaner on it.
