94 J30t Check Engine Light

I have a 94 J30t with 97,000 miles. Recently the check engine light comes on intermittently when the car is started. When it is on -- usually less than one minute -- the engine idles rough. Then the engine idles normally and the light goes out.

This does not happen every time I start the car. Sometimes it lasts 10 seconds. Sometimes 10 minutes. The car drives OK at normal driving rpms, but it runs rough idling and at low rpms.

Is it the O2 sensors? The throttle sensor? I took it to the local dealer, and of course, the check engine light would not go on when hooked to the scope! They looked at me like I was crazy, which I may be, but that is beside the point!

Any ideas?
