Just recently (with the help of the good people here) diagnosed and cured my bucking issue which turned out to be a bad MAF. Last week, my car started not wanting to idle when warm. Figured it could be a few things, possibly O2 Sensor, possibly Spark Plugs, Coil Packs, etc.

Went through the fun of changing the plugs yesterday before the fireworks. Car fired up and wasn't trying to die on me but it seemed a bit sluggish on the 35 mile drive I had to work today, eventually threw a code.

Just pulled the code and it threw a 45, from searching on here I found out that's an injector leak. Car just turned 137,000 yesterday as well and in my 2.5 years of ownership, I've changed the alternator, fuel filter, plugs, MAF, fuel pump, etc...

Just looking for input as to what other people with similar or greater mileage have found themselves replacing. I think I've got to do the valve cover gaskets as I think they are leaking, may need new injectors, or at least a cleaning from RC Engineering or something. I'm worried I'm going to need a new transmission at some point as it's got a sloppy 2-3 shift and I have no idea how much those cost.

What should I be looking for as the car continues to rack up the miles as a daily driver? Anything I should try to get to or that I might already be on borrowed time with?

Thanks as always for any help.

/Mark

O2 sensors. See the thread below. I had the same code when I bought my 90Q and couldn't pass smog. New sensors, code gone, passed smog. Get them from sparkplugs.com for about 1/2 the price of the stealership or even Joe. Good luck.

If you use sparkplugs.com for the NTK, be sure to call as sometimes the webpage lists the wrong O2 sensors, especially for FGY33.

Don't go anywhere else as many factory rejects that don't pass OEM tolerances are out there, even in Nissan boxes.

Thanks for the information as always guys.

Based on sparkplugs.com, it shows the part numbers as 24521 and 24154 with prices of 52.85 and 44.85 respectively. These are different numbers from what I saw in the other thread so can anyone who has purchased these previously confirm which numbers are correct?

Also I noticed Wes said that one of these has an (unnecessary) 60" lead off the sensor and you can use the sensor with the shorter 12" lead for both sides.

Any information as to which sensor is going to be the one to order?

Also for injectors, are the OE's the only real solution there?

Thanks again!

I bought a pair from Sparkplugs.com in April for my 94Q and had them installed:P/N NTK24521 ($52.85)P/N NTK24615 ($68.85)plus shipping

Sorry I can't tell you which is which since I left them in the box and had them installed by a shop.
