Wow, as a new owner, I must join the flock of people praising your car. It looks great, and is very well done. I do have a question for you. Where did you get the light cover with the air dam? My uncle has something similar (if not the same) and I am curious where to find one. I'll be doing an SR swap in April.

Thanks for the compliment guys.

Or Rota P-45F and P-45R. You can get more aggressive sizes.http://www.rotawheels.com/wheels.asp?wh ... wheelid=31

I can't find any stores that sell it. Found this one though.http://www.silviaparts.com/sto...=0011

And 17 inches. They used to make only 5-lug 18 inches.

Did order 17s or 18s for your coupe?

It looks good. I like it. Whatever you get, remove a black plastic trim right behind the headlight cover. I wonder what's the slot in the front for. I bet there's a eason for it. You make a hole on headlight trim and redirect the air when the headlight is up? Maybe????

Not sure what the slot is for (on the Attain one)...I bet it's for better air flow. I found one that looks more like yours (I'm sure the quality isn't as nice as yours). It's sold on PSI Parts website...they are in Aussie land. With shipping it runs about $95-$96 US ($142.75 AU).

Here is a link: http://www.psiparts.com.au/fro...LC-FG

I'm really diggin' the way the Attain one looks...I might save up for a few weeks and order that one. Only thing is, I'm trying to finish my interior before doing anything else...only drawback is time....(sigh).

I am so completely jealous of this car. It is so incredibly clean, good work bro. Any ideas as to what other parts are going to be added, or what plans you have for her? And are you serious that you've owned the car for 10 years!?

Thanks man. At this point, I have all digital climate control parts seating in my garage, and I want to give it a shot. I'm kinda afraid that I might mess up though, but I've seen several people who've done the swap successfully. As far as engine goes, I'll drive untill KA dies or gives me too much trouble and do SR swap. Yes, this is my 10th year owning this car.

I love how your car is turning out. It's one of the most tastefully modded cars I've ever seen. I would bow down to you and your car if I ever saw it in person.

I also really like the Nismo rims, but I don't want to be a copy cat.

I hope my car is almost as clean as your car in a couple of years.

People were staying inside because it was chilly that day, so I'm not sure if they even had a chance to look at it.

biggie,I can't wait to see the pics. If you don't mind, where did you get them from and how much?

How did you get your engine so clean?

In the picture of your engine where the wires to plugs are there are other wires stemming out of there and hooked onto the driver side part of your engine... What are those for? I don't have those wires .

I wish I had a digital camera, I have to rely on friends to take pictures of my car... *They suck at doing so*

No, I used to daily drive it for about 7 years and finally got another car for DD.

Brake cleaner, tooth brush, Q-tips and patience. That's all it takes...

Sorry, no new pictures. That's about it, but I'll post these pics here instead of creating a new thread. We took advantage of bad economy and bought this one for my wife recently. Problem is it's hard to sell her old car 1999 3000GT. Anyway, still my s13 is much better and more fun. It's 2006 model with 27k miles on it. It didn't come with the rear lip spoiler, so I had to pay $600 to get one.

I don't get it... so you take a tooth brush you add brake cleaner to it and you brush it in? Then use q tips to what clean up the residue? No rags no socks nothing? I'm really interested in getting mine as clean as yours and I don't mind the hardwork involved I just want something to do and a very clean engine like yours would be well worth it...

Searched for 2 months, and finally I found it in Pheonix. It's in perfect like new condition.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Yes, you need a lot of towels and rags. Try this. Take out intake pipe, air box, battery, upper fan shroud, clutch fan and remove as many parts as you can from the engine bay and go from there. I used and tried all different types of cleaners such as plastic/rubber cleaner, brake cleaner, simple green, WD-40, PB Blaster and etc.

I'm not a mechanic hahaha. Air box? Battery understood. Intake pipe I got now. I will do some research into pictures of these things or at least I will try to. Ok I understood after relooking over your car. I never figured out how to take off the fan yet but if I took apart that whole intake pipe it should work much easier I'm assuming..

Not knowing parts or surfaces and using the wrong substance on it will it hurt it? Did you ever wash it with like a hose?

No, I never used a hose. I just put some water in a spray bottle and used it. Well, use brake cleaner and simple green for the thick oil/grease build up and others for dirt and light residue. I jacked up the car, removed the stuff under the hood and spent a couple of hours after work for several days, so it's definitely not a couple of hours job.
