MY girlfriend has a 92 Sentra that was running good until yesterday morning when she went to start it. All the lights come on, but when you fully engage the key to start the car, the radio and idiot lights cut off, the starter make absolutely no noise, and the engine doesnt crank or anything in turn. I already hooked her car up to mine with jumper cables and that didnt help. Its an automatic transmission so I ran it through the gears while the key was "on", put it back in park and tried to start it again and got nothing. I checked the ignition relay(?) in the fuse block next to the battery and it looked okay as well as the ignition fuse in the car.

Im confused because if it were the starter thered be signs of it dying right? Any help would be great since now that her cars dead, Im her chauffeur until I get it fixed.

Does everything else electrical work on the car? Power windows, radio, etc.? If not, it's possibly the battery relay fuse. It blew on my old B14, had to get one from Nissan because nobody else carried it.
