I had a valve cover oil leak, so I bit the bullet and pulled the intake plenum, redid all 4 valve cover gasket/seals and while I had it down, did the coolant by-pass mod. Got it all back together but no joy. It ran fine before all of this, but after much head scratching I finally realized I was only getting a table spoon full of fuel flow. I checked the fuse and nothing doing. Can the fuel pump take an untimely dump, just like that? Does access to the pump come from the spare tire well? I took the spare out, but didn't see any kind of access cover in there?? Is there anything I haven't checked that would keep the pump inop? I did change the fuel filter and fuel lines between it and the fuel rails. I'm at a loss. One member from another Nissan site recommended that I join this forum and then download the service manual for my car, but even that won't cooperate. I click on the proper year manual and it just keeps crunching away ("waiting for NICO club....") until it times out. Tricks to getting the manual???
HELP
Thanks, Steve

Yes, the pump can take an untimely dump, but it is also possible you swapped the fuel lines going to the plenum.

To access your fuel pump if you have the 2+0, its under the storage box right behind your seats. 2+2 is under the spare tire in the hatch.
