91 Z32 TT - Airbags How Many Sensors

Hi,
After 28 months in the shop my wrecked z32 is almost ready. 2 years ago I bought a airbag, clock spring and all sensors. I never did see the parts because they were shipped to the 1st body shop that had my car. The car is now at a mechanic shop and they are telling me I need a safing sensor.
I just want to know how many sensors the car has and locations. I found some info on a tunnel sensor. Is that the same part? Does the Air Bag brain(or whatever it is called) need to be replaced?
I think 3 sensors are in the front and 2 are inside? Is that correct. Sorry this has been a stressful 28 months. My car only has 21K miles when a 93 year old pulled in front of me.
