Wrecker is the next option.

If you think you can grab a chunk of rubber hose from anywhere keep this in mind: Not all rubber hoses are created equal. Fuel lines are resistant to the solvent properties of gasoline. Some rubber lines will actually swell when exposed to any type of hydrocarbon based liquid. You might be able to check into the local truck shop suppliers and find some large diameter fuel line used for diesels. Then you would have to figure out how attach the line securely to your tank and inlet with out getting any kinks in the hose.

A note: You might consider replacing the overflow fuel line as well. (The smaller hose that runs from the tank back up the side of the fuel filler inlet.)

yeah, already knew this that's why i was looking to the dealer. most of the wreckers around here don't waste their time on a 18 year old rubber hose. i was hoping somebody might know of a good on line source for OEM nissan parts as i do not.

the over flow is fine but it does need a new evap valve too. the dealer wanted $26 for that....believe i'll get rid of it all together and buy myself something fancy with my $26

Try a industrial hose maker. Look in yellow pages we have rubber house here who makes all types of industrial hoses and conveyor belts. I have had hydraulic lines made. they carry every type of hose and in all sizes and will be cheaper than any dealer. Just tell them what you need and size and it needs to be chemical /gas resistant.
