91 300zx Turbo Smoking from Engine Bay

Hello, I'm pretty new to Z series cars and I was looking at purchasing a 91 TT Z32 manual. The ad for the car says it is stock minus a fuel pump and flywheel and has 77,000 original miles. The owner says he saw smoke coming out of the engine then parked it and hasn't driven it since. It starts and runs but won't go very far. He claims that cylinder 5 has a bad piston and is trying to sell it for about $3500. I was wondering how much it would cost or how difficult it would be to replace the piston or if I should just not bother with the car at all.

Offer 1750 or 2k cash and rebuild it, upgrade internals and get 95 injectors reseal the turbos and can it good. That's what I would do

3500.00 is too much for a non running Z, if everything else is immaculate 1500.00 tops
