heres the dilly-oh. i got a 90 240 for 800 and i have put about a g into fixing it and getting it nice again. its a salvage title and has 135,000 miles-5spd and its just plain tight. i am trying to sell my 85 bmw 318i for 2 g's (interested?) and i was gonna use that to do some tight ish on my 240. i will have a chance in the near future to pick up a 93 240 hatch with 73k miles a 5 speed and its one of the cleanest ones ive seen. its a friend of mine and he just rear ended someone and he thinks he'll get more $ for it if he takes the insurance money and then sells it for like 1500. it will need 400 $ at the most to fix it. now i think that it would be tight to sell the bimmer, buy the 93 240, sell the 90 240 for about 2 g's after i paint it and it lookd perfect and have a 93 with half the miles and 2 g's in my pocket. its dark green with tan int. so what do yoy think?

The '93 hatch is a nice car to work on. Since it has only ~70k the chasis is in ok shape and is just begging for an sr. Use the '90 as a daily beater to get you from point a to point b.
