Well I've had a handful of s13's, so I'm familiar with the ka. This is my first nissan truck. It's an 89 pathfinder se. 4x4, 5 speed. Has the 3.0 v6, I'm sure everyone knows that, so ok, that's out of the way.

Here are my issues. The truck starts and idles fine, nothing wrong. When driving it has horrible hesitations and cuts out. Has no power, sounds like it's running a piston down. We checked the basics, bought a new fuel filter, injector cleaner, etc. Still no change. Is this possibly a fuel problem? Like I said, it idles fine, sounds perfect. It's only when driving. It has 157k on it. Any help or ideas would be great. Thanks.

TPS (throttle Position Sensor) on the back side of the throttle body. It's a wiper resisitor style and will develope a dead spot over time. My father old P-finder had the same issues and no one could trace it. I found out about this from a Nissan tech in the business since 87.

Thank you. I'm going to give this a try and see if it helps.
