87 nissan pulsar gtir swap

hello, new to the board- just got a 87 nissan pulsar nx came wwith ca18 twincam- would like to do a sr20 swap from the gtir- any info on the swap and what i'll need is appreciated. i check for performaance on this car and its a mix bag- need any info for coilovers, exhaust,etc-thanks peeps

hey, no one is going to answer you with such broad questions. I can tell your new because your asking things that "regulars" know how to find the answers to. you have to search for threads already discussing these topics. they will be pages and pages on just suspension settings or swaps, tuning, etc. you will not find someone that is willing to check everyday to see if you understand what your doing or not, nor will people answer any question that has not bin researched. there are alot of people on here that love their car and will not respect someone if they don't know what they are talking about. take this as a friendly warning and see if this helps. search.php

ok, let me make it alittle more simple- i know the sr20 gtir swap will fit in the car with a sr20 fwd transmission from a ser or g20t-my questions were which do i need the maf and ecu from the us sr20 or gtir. i called couple places and will chip my stock ecu if needed. i've done swaps before just not familiar with fwd sr20 especially a nx. i've searched on the site but most are topics with no real answers. u got a tagged topic send it to me thanks

you can use the gtir maf, or you can also use a 300zx or even a ford cobra unit.
youll probly need an sr20 radiator, ignition(and ignition bolts), axles, and the gtir harness( if you dont have one already)
also you should check out jim wolf technology, theyre very reputable and the can reflash you ecu for this particular swap.

thanks doode, i actually called jim wolf for the ecu flash. i had used them before for my sr20 swap for my s13, i wanted to try the fwd sr20 had my s13 for so long want something new,thanks...
