86z electrical problems digital dash

it has the all digital dash and ever since i got the car the spedometer would go on and off the fuel gauge dosnt show nething only when i get down to 5 gallons a number pops up next to the gauge the mpg and pressure/vacuum gauge combo always shows ridiculous #s like 96 mpg plus the whole center console controls for a/c defrost an to simply run the blower motor are non exsistent dont even turn on ive checked all the fuses all are good except for the one for the a/c an that one just keeps gettin popped is it just a short in the wirin or somethin more?

perhpas that 96 is DTE (distande Till Empty)

nah thats on a different part of the dash with the trip and that goes in an out as well

Sounds like you should give resoldering the connections in the power supply a shot. As for the AC controls... maybe a broken wire? Does it pop the fuse as soon as you turn it on?

yes pretty much as soon a the car comes on the fuse pops which i know means that circuit is drawing too many amps but i really dont know where to go from there ne one know a reliable place on the internet for a diagram?
