Where is the a/c expansion valve located on a 86 Nissan 300zx ?
And how do I get to it to replace it ?

You remove the hard lines from the box (engine bay). Then you remove the glove box, pull out the blower motor. You should be able to remove the evap box at that point without removing the dash. I haven't done it personally, but I have to swap mine out and I've spent plenty of "bonding time" with the dash in my 86... :tisk:

Wait... why would you have to remove the heater core? I'd personally avoid that particular f*** if at all possible...

you don't have to pull the dash for the a/c box, but if the heater core goes bad....you don't have much choice
