86 maxima stalling once in awhile

it stalls once in awhile taking off from a stop light or starts then dies and won't start. After sitting for awhile 1-3 hours it will run fine. When it won't start i don't hear the fuel pump prime. I hear the fuel pump relay in the trunk clicking when i try to start it then clicks again when i quit. I guess it is resetting . Is the pump going bad?

well it clicks also if the pump is unplugged, just tried that.

finally found out what it was . now to install the part.
