Ive been a 240 fanboy the most of my life.. and i found a z31 in my area for 1500 and im thinking about getting it..

Its current condition is ok, but the it has a few problem like the power seats dont work and the power windows dont work, oil pressure gauge doesnt work and the tach seems funny, the guy said he put a new transmission in 3k miles ago and it feels pretty smooth..

but i was wondering if there any other things i should look at/ for.

steering rack leaks, rear crossmember bushings, rust! (floor pans near where the rear crossmember bolts on, base of the A pillars, rear bottom of the rockers)

if you need a new cloth power seat let me know I have a good pair of seats about to go to the crusher with a car

and if you are int he market for a Z, there is ro at least was a Z31 Shiro for sale in Nashville for $3500 IIRC

^ yeah ive seen that shiro.. i just dont have the cash right now.. im looking for something cheap for a dd..

when i was driving it, it felt like the power steering would go in and out and it needed an alignment.. nothing that wouldnt need to be done to a 24 year old car..

on the subject of the seat.. is it possible that fuse was blown or the motor is out.. also the windows wouldnt roll down on either side (which are power).. like on 240s on the regulator goes out and the windows dont work.. am i looking at the same thing in the z?
