This is definitely a decent find:

I just got back from inspecting this rig in person. Initially I was checking it out for a friend but, he's sold on getting an older one so, I'd thought I'd share this with the rest of you.
This is a survivor pickup. Owned by an octogenarian that can no longer drive, it apparently was a second vehicle for him as it appears to have less than the 121k on the clock.
The body is sweet. One dime sized ding on the top of the left fender, another small one on the forward right bed, from the inside~out. Paint is unrestored and in outstanding condition, with few exceptions, clear coat on hood is peeled in one 4" diameter location on the right, and the hood looks like it
might have been resprayed at the dealer early in it's life. No cancer what so ever. There is a small collection of dirt inside the right fender well but, it's dry and I couldn't find any signs of pre-cancerous rust. Every factory decal is in place, all emblems are in place and like new. Bumper/grill is perfect. Typical buffing wear on tailgate lettering.
Interior is complete. Driver seat was switched out but, the original comes with the sale. Typical dash cracks. The OEM Datsun AM pushbutton still works great! Every idiot light and seat belt buzzer even works. Stock carpet, jacks, yada, yada, yada...
Appears to be very mechanically sound. No leaks, U-joints don't have any play, no visible brake seal issues, all the stock smog crap is there, some pieces appear to have been replaced recently, and it fires right up! Strong L20.
I'd love to pick this one up for myself if I had the disposable income. I asked the owner if he would mind if I posted it here as I feel the truck should go to someone that would appreciate and care for it. It's just too sweet to let it go to landscaper hell. He agreed.
His name is Mike, and he can be reached at (714) 944-1231
I expect his reserve will be around $5k.
