I'm having trouble locating the title for my 78. Would you be interested in selling?

I don't blame ya a bit!! I wouldn't sell mine for twice what I gave which was $200. After talking to 5 people I obtained the phone number of the title holder for mine today... Shew glad that's over with! Good not get discouraged when it comes to older, rugged built trucks. The payoff is sweeeeeeeet :dude:

I Put a GM V6 in my 1976 truck. Mine is also comverted to a 4X4, so I have alot of room under it. I used a motor mount to put a V8 into an older Jeep CJ. It just bolts straight down through the frame. Check an old Willy's parts place. I used a 3/4T truck 4 speed in my conversion, so I'm not sure about how to mount the transmission. I would assume a transmission mount from a full size truck can be cut down and welded in to the smaller Datsun frame width. That's what I did for my 4-speed. Good luck.
