102-100 the next 4 days for us. On the 4th we are all the way down to 95. But humidity is what will kill me.

Have to trim all the bushes in my front yard tomorrow. Heat and fun with an electric hedge trimmer, so looking forward to that.

Don't do like I did. I bought some new hedge clippers and it wasn't 5 minutes before I cut the extension cord with them.

Done that the 2nd time using this one. Luckily it was just a cheap 15' cord that I was using for extra length and not the expensive heavy 50' cord I have.

Sparks for me as well. And took me forever to find the breaker that tripped. My outside outlets are on a breaker built into a wall plug in my garage.

I have learned to make my extension cord into a harness type around my shoulders that exits behind me so I can't cut the cord as long as the clippers are in front of me.

The long pants/shirt tomorrow are going to be the worst part.

Wear white and do it early in the morning. :)

I don't worry too much about cord damage, it is the ole FINGERS I worry about. :ohno:

My bigger worry is one of the big bushes is up on a retaining wall, tight squeeze to get to it with a 9 ft fall to concrete.

And am going to try to get up and start by 10am. Usually take a couple hours or so.

100 here now, feels like 104. Just got back from lunch 45 mins ago, couldn't breathe outside.

Yuck! I left my windows cracked about 2 inches. I usually don't do that in this fine part of town that I work in. It is days like this that I'm glad I don't have leather seats!!!!

Yesterday my car was so hot that my iPod wouldn't work. Had to listen to plain ole radio.

BTW, just got Linkin Park's new CD and IT ROX.

Yeah, when I went to lunch I noticed by outside temp was messed up, reading 81 degs. So it went bad. Its done that before then fixed itself, hope it does again. Cause that little piece is like $60 and have to take grille off to replace it.

Probably don't want to leave the ipod in the car in this heat.

Glad my GPS and Ipod are out of the car right now (taken out when the car was stuck in parking lot for 3 days).

Mine stays in the glove box. To tell you the truth, I forget it is in there till something goes wrong with it or I want to add some tunes.

Supposed to be 104 to 108 in Hooterville today - depending on who you google....
Out of town today, so won't get to workout in my man cave and see how much difference it is when it's that hot.... :frown:

I had 105 on the G at 4:45pm yesterday, in the middle of a 20 minute drive at 50mph. About 10 degrees cooler today, and we just had a front move through and bring it to 74. Bliss.

Wish we would get some rain. My yard is not happy.

We got scant rain out of the front. I was running a sprinkler from about 5-8pm. Mostly trying to keep some reseeded areas alive.

No rain and no cooling down here, sucks.

Z-Bo needs a good cleaning and another coat of Zaino.

Rambo needs to get out of the garage. I haven't had him out in about 4 months. No a/c kinda limits the summer driving. :squint:

My S13 Coupe doesn't have AC and I never use it on my S13 Vert (just top down). So they mostly only get driven at night during the summer.

I bought one of those cans of 134a with the hose and gauge and stop leak in it. My compressor works, it just won't hold refridgerant. This is either going to make it or break it worse than it is. :squint: I'm not sinking $800 - $1000 in a/c repairs for a garage king.

My S13 Coupe AC will have a real hard time working with the compressor, condensor, lines and everything AC related ripped out a few years ago.
