so im buyin a 75 620 and its the longed model im been lookin to see wat the differences were between the shortbed. Is it the year thats different? model? is it possible to cut down the bed ? are the frames longer? sorry i been trying to look up these things and i cant really find any information

also sorry haha is it possible to do bed swaps?? if anyone can answer these questions id be awsome or at least shed some type of light. if noone can im just gunna have to wait till i get the truck and see myself

i think you may have to wait to see yourself man.... but in general the different beds on trucks often mean different frames as well... although i'm not sure without measurements

The 620 did not have a short bed until 1975, even when they had a king cab the king cabs was always short beds. A bed that has 4 hooks on it is a short bed and a bed with 5 hooks is a long bed. The long bed and the short bed are totally different and a lot of modification has to be done to convert it.
