I've seen a couple people who have done it online, anybody on the forums? I have a desmogged 84 720 4x4 with a VERY rough body but good mechanicals/frame and running a DGV, and I would looove to do this (I always liked the 620 body better, and if I can find a 73-74 body to do it with, DEQ exempt anywhere around here). How are the two matched for wheelbase, width, etc? Any odd hiccups?

from what i remember the 720 frame is a bit wider.... but i'm not sure how the bodies differ from each other... as long as the body size makes sense... then mounting the 620 body on to the 720 frame will be pretty simple... just a few modifications here and there as far as mounting

Looks like the body sizes are pretty close between the 720/620 regular cabs.

720 Reg Cab Wheelbase 101.4 Length 171.9 Width 63.4620 Reg Cab Wheelbase 100.1 Length 169.2 Width 62.5521 Wheelbase 99.6 Length 170.3 Width 60.8

I'm not 100% sure on those 521 numbers, since I always thought the 521 was shorter than a 620, but the wheelbase seems to be about right for just how far the rear tire was off on the pics of the 521 4x4 on a 720 frame that is out there on google (http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3035112). I know the frames aren't exactly the same, since the 720 is a notable upgrade for having a fully boxed frame. Other than that, it just mights worked. Anyone know how much longer the wheelbase is on a longbed/king cab 720?
