620 fuel pump

620 fuel pump
I have a 1978 620 and the fuel pump is running but will not draw any fuel. It has set for quite awhile. What is the best fuel pump replacement.

The "best" is an original Nikki pump, but they're hard to come by anymore.
Rock Auto has a suitable replacement unit for the 620, last I checked.

Got one from rock auto the original works but would not draw fuel from the tank. Put new one on runs fine draws fuel from a gas can but I cant get anything to come from the tank it has about 4 gallons in it which is fresh gas. Truck set for about 6 years is there a way to get to the tank from the bed?

Any Datsun fuel people out there? This is an original 78 California truck that has a fuel shut system would this have anything to do with not being able to draw fuel from the tank?

Pump has to run as it rests on cam (assuming it's a manual).
