I have a 1976 Datsun 620 pick-up. We installed a new master cylinder. now I drive it ten miles or so and the brakes just get tighter and tighter until it don't wanna go no more. It seemed fine for a few days until I used it at work and backed up a lot. My buddy says I adjusted the brakes too tight when I back up too much.

your buddy could be right...

the only other thing i can think of is if there is something in the brake system that keeps acting as if the brakes are applied thus keep building the pressure over time.

hmm... not sure though
