Re-read how I came across in my post. I know I'm asking for a ticket going 80, and I should say that I used-to-go 80, I keep the cruise set at 70 on my way home now. I just thought it was a little coincidental that with the same driving style in the A/C I was pulled over within two weeks of having it. Not suggesting a conspiracy, just that when driving a car that looks sporty, you're more LIKELY to be pulled over.generic808 wrote:
Wow, I didn't think this thread would turn out this way. I just added my .02 cents because believe it or not, I think LEO's take more verbal harrassment than any other profession out there. I just wanted to let you guys know how it feels to be on the "other side" of the law. And I just wanted to give everyone a few tips on how to better your chances of NOT getting a ticket.
stsxcrle, 82 in a 65 will definitely get you a ticket anywhere in the country, except for maybe LA
That said, I completely agree I should have received a ticket and understand and respect that a LEO has to constantly be on guard and take a lot of abuse. I'm always respectful to them and they in turn are almost always respectful back.
