what about an acura 3.5rl or a q45 or a lexus ls400? all of those have lsd's and are rwd. the last 2 can be made pretty quick with an engine swap and all 3 can be pretty powerful with just some mild engine work. also, all of those are pretty nice cars.

Req for his car: 1. 4 door, yes 42. An import available in the states, not a domestic he can export3. in the 4k$ and under range....

Thats it just 3.... Work on those first then consider if they are driftable...

No no get the J... and swap out trannies. Sub 4 grand, v6, rwd, 4dr, vlsd and a nissan luxo car. Might be a tad heavy, but you know it would look sweet sideways.

I always wanted to setup one with vg30dett, and 5 speed for a nice luxo sleeper.

I would also say the Q but it is also auto only if im not mistaken and I have very limited knowledge of what if anything could swap out for the transmission. The vh45de is definitely capable, and has been used in hot rods even.

You could possibly get one in your range from the earliest modles as well, but im not sure....

The J can be had easilly in your range and should be in nice condition considering its status, so to say. If you where to do a swap in the cressida, it would be nice to see a boosted J as well.

Apexi, I had an opportunity to spent a half day with BSR at Summit Point at their skid pad. (BSR trains cops). They use old ex-cop Caprices.Trust me you can make the tires lose grip pretty easily even with a live rear axle. I know because I did it...a lot. Lotsa power in those beasts. Added bonus... they're dirt cheap to buy. Regards

the cressida DID come with the 7mge engine you know. 190hp, 185 ft/lbs of torque. even a 7mgte engine would be nice.

4DOOR JAPANESE CAR UNDER 4GRAND... HMM I WOULD SUGGEST A OLD MAXIMA. ALTIMA OR A SENTRA.. IVE DRIFTED MY OLD SENTRA BEFORE.. IT WAS A 99 SENTRA.. AND I SAW A 99SENTRA HERE IN CORPUS FOR 4500.. IM NOT TOO SURE ON THE ALTIMAZ BUT DONT THEY HAVE GOOD SUSPENSION?AND OF COURSE THESE R ALL FWD.. WHICH SUCKS BUT HE WANTS A 4DOOR..
