Would your car top out faster?my friend got 4.11 gears and he most likely tops out shorter in top speed.Of course those are basically for drg but what about the skyline?

Why do you want 4.11 Gears?

Plus you will have problems with ABS and TCS of course unless you correct the sensors.

And of course I think there will be problems with your speedometer and speed sensors.

Hows the rest of the car?

Dragon is an aftermarket brand/company.

TC = Torque Convertor

3000 ... rpms.

You'll have to do some research adn reading to understand what a higher stall does, but suffice it to say, Wes recommends as such.

A 97-01 3.694 diff plus a 90-93 transmission can almost emmulate a 4.083 diff without the serious MPG decreases associated with having the 15.4% higher gear in 3rd and 4th. Losing only 1 MPG vs 3 MPG.

3.694/3.538= 1.044........................................5% higher 1st and 2nd gears in 90-93 transmission

Dragon is the name of the Torque Converter sold by Precision Industries. They call their import TCs the "Dragon" because it sounds better than the "Turtle".

You can get the ring and pinion set from the dealer or you can get it out of a Z32 300zx NA diff. The hard part will be having the ring gear spacer machined for the Q45 diff and also locating the longer bolts that are needed. Plus, you need to set up the backlash and preload properly.

I had mine built by UNITRAX in California. They said that they can't find the spacers anymore so no more 4.08 conversions for the Q45.

I think the speedo gear from the J30 would make the reading a bit more accurate.

Do the ABS/speed sensor need to be touched or do 1990-2001 share the same ones?

What can I do to prevent the odometer and trip odometer from displaying inaccurate info when this differential is added?

Will the 1997-2001 differential bolt directly up to a 1990-1996 Q45?

Im confused. If you take out the factory 3.56's, and put in 3.69's, how does that = or almost = putting 4.08's in?

I have to be missing something...

You are missing the different first and second gear ratios on the early Q45.

Ok For Example.I have my 93 Q45. All Stock. I take out my 3.53 gears and put in the 97-01 3.69's, how is that like putting in 4.08's? There is still a .39 missing.... Im Not saying you, or anybody else here is wrong, im saying i HAVE to still missing something.
