no place for rear spoiler, interior looks tacky (look at Audi for a good interior) and no brembos?

however I look at it, I just don't ... like it.

take another look, the image appeads to be comoputer generated but there appears to be painted black callipers, who's to say they aren't black brembo's? spoiler? you think looking at the 350Z with no spoiler it appears to have a place for a spoiler? the back of the 370 looks much more like it's ready to accept a spoiler,a nd the interior, I like that they added matching door panels to the orange leather this time around, I just wish the steering wheela nd shift boot matched, maybe even the console cover, and I'm sure the orange leather won't be standard as it's nto now

the headlights look much better than I thought they would, the tail lights look retarded but so do the 350Z IMHO

From our friend Darryll Harrison at Nissan:

Nissan offers the first look at the upcoming 2009 370Z Coupe, which makes its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 19th. The all-new 2009 Nissan 370Z, the first full redesign of the iconic Nissan Z since its reintroduction as a 2003 model, solidifies the strengths of its predecessor with an unmatched balance of performance, style and value. The all-new Z will go on sale at Nissan dealers in early 2009.

Spoilers are VERY 2001. Time to let them go.

Interior is gorgeous. More so, it's functional.

Brembos haven't been on the Z since 04.

Possibility of them bringing them back, and I'd hope so, given Nissan's performance in the "brake shootout" I read recently.

It’s very retro (280Z) looking to me – long nose, short rear end. I don’t like the headlights or the taillights but the rest is ok. I really like the front end. I’m not quite sure what to think of the interior. I need to absorb it a little longer.

very old z meets z33.... but i like it (i think). Its one of those cars the more you learn about it (350hp) the more you like it. I'm excited about the up coming release of the car. Can't wait to read the first test drive article!

it's to be a 2010 model bt acording to autoweek available in spring 09, so it'll be a bit early to market, after all fall is a terrible time to launch a sports car

QFT.

I still don't know how I feel about the flat spots surrounding the wheel wells. Why does everybody do this now?

Overall I think it is growing on me.

2003....The car look a little to high off the ground. Maybe it's the camera angle?

That photo looks to me like a base model according to the lease computer at work the next trim level is equipped with "Brembo" brakes.{edit- Correction sport brakes not Brembos}

There will be two options for the 2009 370Z:

Coupe and Coupe Touring with two transmission options. 7-spd auto and 6-spd manual.

The computer doesn't have any info on standard options, but selectable extra options worth mentioning include:

Navigation Package:

Hard-drive based Nav system9.3 GB HDD Music BoxiPod Connectivity(No 6 disc changer option)

Sport Package:

VLSDDown shift rev-matchingFront and Rear aero package"Sport Brakes"19" Rays Wheels245/40/19275/40/19

The improvements from the concept photos make a huge difference. Still don't like the head/tail lights, but the total packages gets the seal of approval!

Its Aight, if your into that sorta thing. Im gonna go to the LA auto show just to see this in person. pictures are always deceiving, as with internet dating, she could look good on the web (notice shots of car using NEAR "camera whore angle" for the rear shot) but just be a hideous beast in person.... not that my opinion matters as I wouldnt be able to afford one till its vintage anyways.

So glad you pointed that out! I love it more now. I love the push button start. My wife had it on her Altima and kinda sorta on her Rogue. You turn the knob but keep the key in your pocket still.

i totally agree, a small lip spoiler would at least take your eye away from the silly third brake light, which looked much better in the top of the hatch, but maybe that means we dont get that stupid looking "hemoroid" light in the middle of the rear diffuser, like the euro design. keeping my fingers crossed. overall, i like it, even the headlights and taillights. interior looks comfortable, but i like the layout of my 05 much better, and as an avid coffee drinker, i sacrifice a hot cup just for the sheer pleasure of driving mine.
