What does your car redline at. You have a REV-up model, they only came in the 35th anniversary ones. Ah yes good times, I almost got one of these, had everything in it, brembos, navi, bose, but it was a-tragic transmission.

You could check the emblems on your car, the A35 emblems have a light bronze outer ring and a polished Z inside the circle, all others have a silver ring and a non-polished Z. The A35 floor mats are also different. http://www.nissanparts.org/PD-...eID=3

That being said I'd look for more evidence than just the emblems and floor mats, after all, how many Type R Hondas have you seen that were actually false advertising? For that matter I've even seen a Mustang GT-R.

Look at the tach the A35 came with the rev-up engine that redlines at 7000 rpm instead of the non-rev 6600 rpm. You should also have Brembos, DVD nav unit and the Bose sound system.

Come on Larry Joe you bought a car that "you thought" was a 35th Anniversary without checking. Not good sir. I have some beautiful beach front property here in the lower louisiana area. Only slightly destroyed by Katrina, Rita, Gustav, and Ike.

well guys, with your help i have decided that my new Z is not the A35 edition. it does not have the nav system, or the correct badges, and the floor mats were missing, lol. BUT, it does have the brembo's, vdc, tcs, bose, and a 6600 redline, awwwww. i guess i'll just have to suffer (sic) along in it. IT IS STILL A "Z"!!! LOL. (THIS CAR "ROCKS") and who needs a nav system anyway?? i cant wait for the day i get LOST on some curvey, hilly mountain road, and have to burn a half a tank of gas to find my way home!!! oh and black smoke, i would love to help you with your beach front property problem, since my grandmother was from Saint Tammany Parrish, love the area, the people, and especially the food. LOL THANKS GUYS, YOU HAVE BEEN A HUGE HELP.

my $100 pocket garmin nuvi thing serves me justice.

I can walk around with it in my pocket and transfer from car to car too, its a flat shape.

And if you have an iPhone you shouldn't need one since it has a state of the art gps built in.

My guess, since it has brembos....track edition or gt but i don't think they started making gt's until 2006.

'05 Track models also had the rev-up engine. I'm a little confused if its an '05 with brembos but not with the rev-up. Weird. Are you sure its an '05?

And Richie you don't need a nav system, ask most people here and I'm sure they'll tell you where to go. I'd even spring for the ticket.

From what you have revealed the only other trim it can be if the badge is not a 35th Anniversary , then it is the Track Model. Post a pic if you get a chance when you come in.

well guys, i have decided this is a touring with all the "right" options. since it is an AT it cannot be a track model. but as i said it does have the 18" wheels, 6600 redline, rear spoiler, brembo's....etc. oh well this car still "ROCKS" whatever model it is. lol.. tried to upload some pics but the site wouldn't allow it, (to large maybe??) anyway thanks again for helping this newbie with his research, and pointing me in the right direction. am considering a few mods to it. will let you know in the future.
