congrats on the car man .... but i heard that the companies put the G35 and 350Z side by side on a race track and raced them and they all said that the G35 smoked the 350Z it was both the base model and it was on some car magazine talking about it ... so wat im trying to say is i heard g35 is faster than 350z but g35 looks way better lol fits more ppl and has a trunk :) so i would go with the g35 all the way

well i dont know hwo ur sources are, but i can assure u the g35 isnt quicker than the 35oz, especially on the track, the suspension is so much more track ready on the 35oz that it wouldnt be a hell of a match

A lot of times, a softer suspension, plus a more equal weight distribution, and a longer wheelbase means better times on the track. The 350 may be able to pull more g's, and stop faster, and accelerate faster, but the G may be a more balanced machine, overall. Balance allows the car to keep its speed up throughout the track, and not wast energy and time in oversteer, understeer, and harder braking.

I recall the Brembro brakes are standard on the G, and with the aero package, the G is more stable, at higher speeds. I seem to recall the G stopped shorter.

I believe Car and Drive did tests on both machines. Although not against one another, but I remember them being suprosed with the results.

Either way, you can't loose.

I see two to three 350's a day, and one to two G's a month, around town.

I prefer to be part of a smaller crowd, when it comes to cars. That is what I like about the Q, there are a few around, but mostly are 98 to 2003 models.

I think it just depends where you are. I see five or six G35s a day and about 1 350z every couple of months.

I wish Baco!Im a huge fan of the G35 coupes. 4 seats, room for luggage with 18" wheels, and Brembo's (part of Sport package). I'll give up 7 hp stock, since most of the performance parts for the Z fit the G35.The clincher...the G35 has to be one of the best looking cars outta Japan in the past few years!! It takes the look of the Z, but the longer roof on the 2+2 just looks so clean. (No spoiler please).Get em before the dealer gouging begins...

Yes, yes, i'd defenitely take the higher-quality G35 coupe's interior over the plastic Z anyday. while the Z may have that sporty edge, the G has the (nearly useless) backseat and does not have the rear strut bar, a huge piece in the Z that prohibits from carrying any objects with a bit of girth. the G35 slightly massaged could be put into the same realm of performance as the Z.
