I was about to buy a 350z but it broke on the way to get it insured to get the money at the bank and pay the seller. I recently saw this on youtube, what do you guys think?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...latedI thought the car was fully Japanese, what a dissapointment, I do own a 1990 300zx though.

I have no idea, It was a six speed and I didn't press the clutch right and it died in the middle of the traffic, then I couldn't start the car again, then I noticed the driver side window didn't work, the radio was mute, the center console in the middle was loose, and the what killed it was that the hazzard button was stuck, like it was just glued up to the console, it was a bad experience and it's weird that this car was this bad cuz I even ran a carfax report on it and it showed that the car had never been in any accidents.Maybe it's just my luck, my brother was with me and he didn't like the car cuz he said it was all plastic on the inside, that's his own opinion, but after seeing that review on youtube, I don't know, but I'm not liking them that much anymore, even though it looks so nice.

I found the youtube video to be one sided and almost offensive. It is being driven by a British guy in Sheffield England and not an American on American roads. For a car that is being sold in the American market, I'd say it's a pretty damn nice car. The engine noise that he finds so annoying is what I find exciting. I also don't think the way it drives or steers is cumbersome. I find it responsive and precise. Whatever, to each his own. There is something good and bad to be found on every car out there. Everyone has different preferences and you need to find the car that matches what you're looking for. I'd like to know what he personally drives.

as for a review, im sure this will balance everything out. Jeremy Clarkson is a bias against anything not related to a euro car.

Yeah this link was discussed before and Jeremy Clarkson just needs a good American a$$ whipping. Dude is way to biased for tv.

Jezza (Jeremy Clarkson) is the best out there. He may not be kind to the Z or lots of other cars but he really KNOWS what he's talking about. He's been doing this since the '70s and has driven EVERYTHING out there.

he's also crazy about the rx-8. He did a comparison of the 350z and the rx-8 in top gear also.

clarkson is a genius but at the same time i think it depends on what car he drove before that... we don't know, he could have driven 5 ferrari's and the veyron then drove the Z.... then with the RX-8 he drove 5 sedans and the cube before that.... He was totally wrong on the 350Z but totally right on the S2000, totally wrong on the RX-8, but totally right on the Z4... he's all we got until the American Top Gear....

Or maybe sometime during that day when he filmed that episode, a 350z rear-ended him...

Perhaps it was simply his wife's car.

just remember that the American Top Gear tries to emulate Jezza... he even won an Emmy! Got it on the table in the studio in a plastic bag. Couldn't even be bothered about it.

Top Gear really is a cracking show, and it's Jezza and the guys that make it so... don't know if it'll work with other presenters... and be the huge hit Top Gear is... "the most watched TV show on the planet" thanks to world syndication.

I just don't like the fact that it's not japanese, it's a beautiful car, don't get me wrong, but I wonder how come the engine is French? The Z that broke on me started up again right when the guy that owns the car lot got there, he thought I was joking.

Dude has no idea what he's talking about. Why would a frenchman complain about a french engine? Put him in a Mustang, RX8 or any of the other ones, then rate the 350z. The 350z will win. Foremost, Owners not drivers rate the Z. It's an opinion, of course they will say negative things about our cars. Let's hear about it from the owners.....
