from what i recall "chipping" your Z isn't going to do much for you - you'd be better of reflashing your ECU-

http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/?id=3686

Cobb tunning makes this, I believe there is another one, but I don't remember right now - try searching the forum.

For your intake, you can check out Stillen, or google it and you'll yield a plethora of other options from AEM, Injen, and others.

Someone else could probably speak to which is the best of the bunch.

im simply saying that cause im lookin for more z's around me and if he needs help i can help.

Also for intake i would go with injen its a lil pricey put according o my info gets the most hp and TQ gains at 16HP and 16TQ.

As for chipping no and the cobb thing does not work with the 07-08 yet.

That's a good post right there - that's what you should be doing. I didn't realize that he has an '08 and that the Cobb Flash doesn't work on the VQ35HR yet...

I know nothing of the chipping or ECU flash, but intake wise, my votes for JWT. I've got it on my 06, and I must say its got the sexiest sound to it. And, I noticed a difference in throttle response.

jwt is nice and it has a great sound but if u want a good power adder injen is where its at.

or u can make ur own intake an intake is pretty much a pipe with a filters on the end. u can even make ur own. u can make an awesome custom designed one tapering it in a lil at it get more towards the engine to increase the velocity and pressure of the air coming in or even all lil fins or groves inside the pipe to spin the air and thus increase the velocity of the air increasing performance. just a few ideas ill throw out there.

the only way to void your warranty is if the mod you have done directly cause the problem or if its nismo r-tune im guessing u got your z in smithtown?

The intake won't void your warranty unless it can be proven that the addition of the part caused the malfunction that you are trying to have fixed. For example, if you were to put on Eibach springs and blew a head gasket, the head gasket would be covered even though you put the springs on because they had nothing to do with the repair. However, if your dealer can prove that your intake caused a malfunction in your engine, it's possible it won't be covered.

except for this^ richie FTW...

I say injen's best known for their intakes, anad i am very satisfied with mine (its an 04 tho). As for the reflash and the tuners, i think they are a waste of money for a couple ponies and a couple mpg's.... But, do what you want when they become available.

Any mod can potentially void your warranty if it is found to be the cause of failure. You should look at the terms and conditions of your warranty. There is no specific brand that will or will not void your warranty. Your vehicle's warranty only covers parts that are intended by the manufacturer (stock parts/stock vehicle). Anything above and beyond that, they will not cover.

I think the NISMO R-tune products just don't come with an warranty, not that they will void the manufacturer warranty.

Like it's been said, the aftermarket product has to be proven to have caused the failure in the specified system.

As for the 16HP and TQ from an intake

That's beyond funny. What's even funnier is that Injen's website doesn't even show any products for the 07/08 350Z

Richie,

Get your facts straight. Your warranty is void if you do that and the transmission breaks when you do it, not just because you turned it off.

Also, stop randomly posting stupid ****. That's why everybody has an issue with your posts.

ADD Mother ______

Injen.com doesn't list the intake for the 07+. That's all I'm saying.
