Um Key West FTL.The pretty rad rides are all mopeds cuz that's the best way to get around there. Every other Key is pretty awesome cuz there's like no one on it. Yeah I forgot about Loxahatche, man that place sucks *** driving through.

BTW do you know what was up with that bank robbery yesterday? I drove by it and was confused and don't watch news.

Wow! Funny thing, I think about this thread a lot when I open the doors with more force than it feels like is necessary, usually the passenger side.

lol check out this thread

same thing used to happen to me. I just glue the bolt back into the plastic and put a small tie wrap around the plastic as tight as possible. It usually lasts about a year until someone else yanks too hard on the handle when it's locked :facepalm2

When you do, grab from the lowest part of the handle you can. I always had this bad habbit of violently yanking my door open from the top, especially here in rainy florida when in some circumstances you just want to get in the car asap

Ordered my part though, should be here soon. I can now toss this one in my pile of broken 350z door handles :naughty:

I'll watch that for sure. Of course, you always have to worry about what your passengers do. :squint: I hate when someone slams my doors or closes the door using the window.

I believe that the involuntary motion we make to open these types of doors handles end up requiring us to use lazy swing momentum unlike a conventional door handle, where you just pull or lift in an upward manner. I sometimes catch myself swinging my torso as i open the door so there's less effort, maybe that's why i break all my door handles!

You know, ever since you first posted about your door handle breaking I've been extra careful about how I opened my doors. I make an effort not to even use anything from the elbow down.
