35 shot isn't exactly epic.

I think the internals should hold up fine for a while.

Why nitrous though?

Yea thats what i thought 35 shot wouldnt put that much strain on the engine like a 50 shot would, what I think got me thinking of it is because my friend is spraying his focus and got me interested.

Yea just let everybody know u can buy a universal nitrous kit for like $500 and would only cost $20 to refill the bottle.

Someone said you can set it to use the Nitrous on wide open throttle...does that mean when you click it into floorband in CVT it would just keepspraying until you let off? Or it's just a quick shot?

I'd be interested in a stealth kit heh.

DO IT, thats a 20% increase in horsepower for that motor, also- ive heard never to use it for more then 15 seconds straight do to heat issues.

Most of the time the WOT setting is a switch you install under the gas pedal. Adjust it so that when the pedal is all the way to the floor, the switch to the nitrous is activated.

A 35 shot isn't going to hurt your 2.5, neither will a 50 shot. A roughly good estimate is 1 "shot" = 1 hp. So a 35 shot is roughly an addition of 35 hp.

I SAY, do it!! y didnt i think of this for my 3.5ive!?

now, is it a wet or dry injection when one sprays from the intake pipe? . .yup, thats where id route it!

Would u have to route the purge through the cowl or is there a "sicker" area to route that on a A/C??

someone please post prices for these kits.

There are a few common types of kits. Dry, Wet, and Direct Port.

Dry is an injector installed in the intake piping that sprays NO2 past the MAF sensor.

A Wet system introduces fuel and NO2 into the manifold together through a single injector directly into the intake manifold, not read by the MAF.

A Direct port is the most complicated. It delievers fuel and NO2 through individual injectors into each injector port.

I think the most cost effective is single point wet system installed though the test point shradder valve already on the intake manifold.

I'd want a small bottle hidden somewhere. Any ideas? 1lb bottle? Remote opener is all I need too?

??? I just don't know if it's worth the extra stress and wear on the engine. and how often would you reeeealy need to use it, unless you race a lot. Just doesn't seem like the benefits out-weigh the draw backs.I would like to see a vid if it does work

i wouldn't think the nitrous would be engaged enough to cause THAT much heat, but i've never had it so who knows

i actually know some one with a 2.5 CVT with a 75 or 50 dont remember but he installed it him self and from what blake explained its a dry shot. he has had it for a while now and no problems so far, i know it takes a long time to really find if the NO2 is hurting ur engine but so far so good.

i've been dying to race him to find out how faster it made his car, but he hasnt filled the bottle.

i also am thinking of putting a 50-100 shot on my car cause i'm tired of ppl boosting and beating me but not much like a car or something. (off topic i saw a mazda6 mazdaspeed AWD and boosting today it was sick). but i want to do more reseach on it cause if not i'll just have my boy with the 2.5 do it for me.(hes the white coupe with the lambo doors in the pics of the Miami meet)

The stock QR motor can handle up to a 75 shot if done correctly. I ran up to a 100 shot on my old KA powered altima. But i strongly suggest either direct port or a wet kit. DO NOT use a dry kit. make sure you do the whole thing right, or don't do it at all.
