Ok  some of the 320's are unibodied, and some are not.   Explain, please, and thank you!  Are the "unibody" ones rare?  I have had my eyes on a '63 unibody style for a minute now.

there are a couple different types of the 320 trucks...
the unibody ones are the NL320 as described on the vin tag...
the seperate bed ones are the L320's...
save it or let us know where it is so we can try...

Zako, as Paul said the L320 has the cab and bed seperated. The NL-320 is the unibody and only 1000 were made. Yes they are rare but it looks like a good number have been saved here in the US. The Aussies have saved quite a few too. There is a very nice NL-320 with extra parts on Ebay right now.

That remains subject to debate...
Datsun apparently didn't keep too good of records and the Factory info states
 "Approximately 1000 registered"
check it out:

The Australian version would be a N320.  The statement 'approximately 1000 registered' pertains to the NL320.

Stephen, do you have any numbers on how many N320's were produced? Me having the imported "runch-wagon" ya know I'd be interested. I know mine is the only one in states right now, but it would be nice to know how many of the little crew cabs were made.

I have no knowledge of those numbers.  I wouldn't even know where to look for them.

Maybe one of the guys down in OZ can help find these numbers?
